CEPU, JurnalPost.com — The Human Resources Development Center for Oil and Gas (PPSDM Migas), in collaboration with the Energy and Mineral Polytechnic (PEM) Akamigas and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Blora Regency Blood Transfusion Unit (Cepu Post), held a blood drive at the PPSDM Migas Primary Clinic in Cepu on Thursday (24/9/2026).
This activity is part of the series of events commemorating the 81 Mining and Energy Anniversary (HUT PE) and is also a simultaneous blood donation program organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
A total of 144 people were recorded participating in the blood drive. Participants came from various backgrounds, ranging from PPSDM Migas employees, training participants, PEM Akamigas students and staff, to the general public.
Several banking employees in the Cepu area and its surroundings also participated. Additionally, students from Ronggolawe Technology University (UTR) and students from SMK Migas Cepu were also part of the event.
Head of PPSDM Migas, Waskito Tunggul Nusanto, expressed his appreciation for the involvement of the donors who participated in this humanitarian activity.
“We intend this with sincerity, hoping that what we donate can provide benefits to those in need. May God Almighty bless and grant grace to what we have done today,” said Waskito.
The blood drive in Cepu is part of a series of similar activities within the Ministry of ESDM that have been taking place from mid-September to early October 2026.
The previous series of activities began at BPH Migas on 15 September 2026. Blood donations were then carried out at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal together with the Secretariat General of the Ministry of ESDM on 21 September.
The activities were continued by the Geological Agency and the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of ESDM on 22 September.
Following the event at PPSDM Migas, the blood drive series is scheduled to continue at the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) together with the Human Resources Development Agency for Apparatus on 29 September 2026.
The series is scheduled to conclude at the Directorate General of Electricity on 1 October 2026.
In addition to being part of the commemoration of the 81 Mining and Energy Anniversary, the blood drive is aimed at helping maintain blood stock availability at the PMI.
Through the involvement of employees, students, training participants, and the general public, this activity also serves as a form of social participation by individuals in the energy sector beyond their technical activities and services in the field of energy and mineral resources.
