BOGOR, JurnalPost.com – The Ukhuwah Al-Fatah Rescue (UAR) Central Java chapter is set to send personnel to participate in a High Angle Rescue Technique (HART) technical workshop organized by the Search and Rescue Potential Coordination Forum (FKP3) of the Kendal-Batang region, scheduled for September 4–6, 2026.

UAR General Chairman H. Endang Sudrajat expressed his appreciation for the Central Java chapter's participation. He noted that HART training is essential for improving personnel capabilities in conducting search and rescue operations in vertical terrain and high-altitude locations.

“Alhamdulillah, the UAR Central Java chapter will participate in the HART workshop organized by FKP3 Kendal-Batang this coming September. May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala facilitate the implementation. Jazakallah, keep up the spirit,” said Endang Sudrajat while responding to a report from the UAR Central Java chapter head, Surasno, via text message on Wednesday (August 26, 2026).

Surasno stated that the UAR Central Java chapter has appointed Syamsul Hidayat as a participant for the three-day training. Syamsul is registered as the third participant from the UAR Central Java chapter among dozens of other attendees.

The HART workshop will be held at Bukit Djaro, Pegertoyo Village, Limbangan District, Kendal Regency, Central Java. The event is organized in collaboration with the Semarang Search and Rescue Office (KanSAR) and Central Java SAR Potentials.

“The activity will, God willing, be held over three days, from Friday to Sunday, September 4–6, 2026. Please pray for the event to run smoothly,” said Surasno when contacted by phone.

Participants Urged to Share Knowledge with UAR Members

Endang Sudrajat also requested that the personnel attending the training share the knowledge and skills acquired with other UAR members in Central Java.

This initiative is expected to broaden the impact of the training while improving the fundamental skills of all personnel in handling emergency conditions.

“After attending the workshop, please ensure the personnel involved immediately train their colleagues so that the knowledge gained can be utilized widely. At a minimum, this includes knot-tying, equipment familiarization, and HART techniques,” Endang emphasized.

Responding to the directive, Surasno confirmed the readiness of the UAR Central Java chapter to follow through.

“Understood, God willing, Chairman,” he said.

Enhancing Rescue Competency in High-Altitude Terrain

The High Angle Rescue Technique workshop is held on a limited basis for members of the FKP3 Kendal-Batang and Semarang SAR Potentials.

The training aims to improve the competence, safety, and preparedness of SAR Potential personnel in carrying out search and rescue operations, particularly in vertical terrain and high-altitude locations.

During the event, participants will receive theoretical and practical material on basic high-angle rescue techniques, victim evacuation at height, roping systems, anchoring techniques, teamwork, and safety procedures in rescue operations.

HART workshop committee member Afit Fandi stated that participants who complete the entire training series will receive a certificate as proof of participation.

“All training participants will receive a certificate from Basarnas,” said Afit.
