Purworejo, JurnalPost.com — The District Government of Pituruh, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, has introduced a digital-based public service innovation titled Galeri Bersama Aneka Produk Unggulan Pituruh (Gerbang Pituruh) to assist in marketing products from Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and tourism village potentials in the region.

The program is led directly by the Head of Pituruh District, Dwi Cahyono Hadi Saputro, S.IP., through the enactment of Pituruh District Head Decree Number 500.10.30.2/38/2026 as well as the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Community Empowerment Section Number 01/SOP/INOVASIPM-PITURUH/III/2026 on June 24, 2026.

Gerbang Pituruh is designed as a digital marketing service reaching SME players, BUMDes managers, and tourism villages across 49 villages in Pituruh District.

Through this service, business owners receive free facilitation for creating promotional materials, ranging from product photography, visual identity or logos, flyers, promotional videos, production process documentation, field coverage, to the drafting of news and marketing narratives.

Promotional materials are then published through official digital channels such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and the Pituruh District website.

All services are provided free of charge to both SME players and village governments, with funding sourced from the 2026 Purworejo Regency Regional Budget (APBD).

Helping SMEs Overcome Digital Marketing Limitations

The presence of Gerbang Pituruh stems from the limited ability of some SMEs and BUMDes to market their products through digital channels.

According to the innovation design document, some business owners in the Pituruh District area still rely on conventional marketing and offline media with limited reach.

Limited capital, content production skills, digital literacy, and the cost of professional marketing services are among the challenges for business owners to expand their markets.

Through Gerbang Pituruh, the district government takes an active role in assisting the process from production to the publication of marketing materials.

SME players no longer need to provide their own cameras, editing devices, photographers, video editors, or content management staff to obtain digital promotional materials suitable for use.

Registration Available via WhatsApp

SME players, BUMDes, and tourism village managers who wish to utilize the Gerbang Pituruh service can register via WhatsApp Admin at +62 822-3366-4242 or through the official social media accounts of Pituruh District.

Once registration is accepted, officers verify business data and determine a coverage schedule.

If the registration queue is empty, the Gerbang Pituruh Team can also implement a proactive outreach mechanism by visiting villages and business owners in need of promotional support.

This scheme was created so that the service does not just wait for requests, but actively reaches out to potential products that do not yet have adequate access to digital marketing.

Implementing a Maximum 1x24 Hour Service Standard

To ensure speed and certainty of service, the Community Empowerment Section of Pituruh District has established a measurable workflow through SOP Number 01/SOP/INOVASIPM-PITURUH/III/2026.

The service implementation consists of five main stages.

The first stage is registration, either via WhatsApp Admin or official social media. The team can also perform proactive outreach if there is no service queue.

The second stage is verification and scheduling, with officers checking business technical data and determining the coverage schedule via a work form.

The third stage is field coverage. The team visits the business location to take product photos, document activities, production processes, business owner profiles, and product advantages.

The equipment used can range from photography gear and smartphone cameras to drones, adjusted to content needs.

The fourth stage is editing and content production. Raw materials or footage are processed into promotional content using editing software, including CapCut and other supporting tools.

The fifth stage is integrated digital publication. The final results can be promotional videos, product photos, flyers, or narrative news published via Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and the Pituruh District website.

In accordance with service standards, the process from creation to content publication is targeted to be completed within a maximum of 1x24 hours after coverage.

Involving a Cross-Sector Team

Gerbang Pituruh was also developed with a collaborative approach through an Innovation Management Team involving various elements at the district level.

The team structure is divided into three working groups (Pokja), namely Planning Working Group, Implementation Working Group, and Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group.

The Planning Working Group is led by the BPKKBPK Coordinator with the task of drafting the design, terms of reference, and roadmap for innovation development.

Meanwhile, the Implementation Working Group is led by the Coordinator of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) of Pituruh District. This group handles socialization, registration intake, field coverage, material production, and digital publication.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group is led by representatives of the Pituruh Police and involves elements from the Military Rayon Command (Koramil), Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Office of Religious Affairs (KUA), Regional Water Utility Company (PDAM), Village Family Welfare Empowerment (TP PKK), and the founder of the local media Pituruh News.

The involvement of these various elements is intended to strengthen monitoring, transparency, accountability, and periodic evaluation of program implementation.

Key Data of Gerbang Pituruh

This innovation uses the official name Galeri Bersama Aneka Produk Unggulan Pituruh (Gerbang Pituruh).

The basis for its implementation includes Pituruh District Head Decree Number 500.10.30.2/38/2026 and SOP Number 01/SOP/INOVASIPM-PITURUH/III/2026.

The program also refers to the regulatory framework for local government empowerment and SMEs, including Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government as well as national regulations related to SME empowerment.

The target of Gerbang Pituruh includes SMEs, BUMDes, and tourism villages in 49 villages throughout Pituruh District, Purworejo Regency.

The standard for completion and publication of promotional materials is targeted at a maximum of 1x24 hours after coverage, while the service cost for beneficiaries is free because it is supported by the 2026 Purworejo Regency APBD.

Service registration can be done via WhatsApp Admin +62 822-3366-4242 as well as the official social media channels of Pituruh District.

Utilizing Platforms Already Used by the Public

One of the characteristics of Gerbang Pituruh is the use of popular digital platforms that are already widely used by the public.

Instead of requiring the public to use a special application, promotional materials are directed through channels such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and the website.

This approach allows village product materials to be more easily found and shared with potential consumers.

The use of social media also opens opportunities for local products to gain organic reach that is no longer limited to the Pituruh District or Purworejo Regency area.

Efforts to Reduce the Digital Divide for Rural SMEs

The digital transformation of SMEs is not only determined by the existence of internet access.

The ability to take product photos, create videos, draft marketing narratives, build visual identities, edit content, and understand the character of each platform are important factors in the success of digital promotion.

For small-scale SMEs, these needs often require additional costs.

Gerbang Pituruh strives to reduce these barriers by providing direct technical support.

Thus, business owners can focus more on product quality, production processes, and customer service, while digital promotion needs are assisted by a team prepared by the district government.

Encouraging the Strengthening of the “Pituruh Brand”

In addition to providing benefits to individual SME players, consistent publication also helps strengthen the identity of local products through the Pituruh Brand.

Structured photos, videos, flyers, and news coverage can serve as a digital storefront for various superior products from villages in Pituruh District.

In the long term, the strengthening of this identity is expected to expand market reach while increasing the recognition of local products.

This program also opens opportunities for cross-promotion between business players, BUMDes, tourism villages, and other economic potentials within a regional marketing ecosystem.

Potential to be Developed into E-Commerce

Moving forward, Gerbang Pituruh still has quite a lot of room for development.

Digital marketing services can be synergized with legality facilitation and product quality improvement, such as halal certification, Home Industry Food (P-IRT) certification, BPOM permits according to product categories, to the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI).

These aspects are important so that increased promotion goes hand in hand with the readiness of products to enter wider markets.

Subsequent development can also be directed toward integration with the e-commerceecosystem.

Content that currently functions as a promotional tool can be developed to connect directly with marketplaces, digital product catalogs, or other transaction channels.

With this scheme, potential consumers who see products through social media can obtain an easier path to make purchases.

Digital Services from the District for the Village Economy

Gerbang Pituruh shows how district-level public services can be directed to support the practical needs of the community in facing changes in marketing patterns.

The service does not stop at socialization but includes registration, data collection, field coverage, content production, and publication.

With a coverage of 49 villages, free services supported by the APBD, a publication standard of a maximum of 1x24 hours, and cross-sector team support, Gerbang Pituruh is expected to become one of the instruments for developing SMEs and village economic potential in Pituruh District.

SME players, BUMDes managers, and tourism villages in Pituruh District who need digital marketing support can access the Gerbang Pituruh service via WhatsApp Admin +62 822-3366-4242 or the official social media channels of Pituruh District.

Through this service, local products are expected to not only be known in the village or district environment but also have the opportunity to reach a wider range of consumers through the digital ecosystem.
