Wonogiri, JurnalPost.com - Have you ever loved someone with all your heart, only to end up in pain? That is the sentiment singer Ronald Dewa explores in his latest single titled "Salah Mencinta".

This melancholic pop track was officially released on Friday (23/10/2026) under the Irama Musik Production label. Ronald Dewa invites listeners to dive into a love story that did not go as planned, where sincerity and loyalty were met with disappointment.

More than just a sad song, "Salah Mencinta" also carries a narrative about the courage to end a relationship that continues to cause hurt.

Interestingly, Ronald Dewa wrote the song himself. He depicts the phase where one must choose to leave—not because the love has faded, but because of the realization that holding on is not always the best decision.

Through simple yet emotional lyrics, Ronald strives to present a story that resonates with many people's experiences, especially those who have fought to save a relationship only to face a bitter reality.

The 'Salah Mencinta' Music Video Holds Hidden Meaning

Beyond the strength of the lyrics and melody, Ronald Dewa also prepared a music video with a cinematic approach.

In this project, Ronald took on the roles of director and screenwriter, while the visual production was entrusted to Jatmoko, with Danis Dhemes appearing as the lead actor.

There is an intriguing element in the music video: the appearance of two KDMP or Kopdes buildings standing face-to-face.

At a glance, they look like ordinary scenery. However, the two buildings serve as a symbol for a relationship between two people who are physically close but can no longer be together.

They appear to be within easy reach, yet reality forces them to walk their separate paths.

This concept reinforces the song's message about a relationship that falls apart even though the love has not fully faded.

On Learning to Let Go of a Loved One

Through "Salah Mencinta," Ronald Dewa does not just tell a story of heartbreak. There is a message about the importance of self-respect when trapped in an emotionally unhealthy relationship.

The narrative also illustrates that choosing to separate does not always mean giving up. Sometimes, that decision is a necessary step to escape prolonged sorrow.

This theme serves as the common thread between the song and its music video, both of which address loss, acceptance, and the courage to move forward.

With a melancholic pop arrangement, Ronald hopes the story within the song can represent the feelings of listeners who have experienced disappointment in love.

Now Available on Digital Music Platforms

For fans of sad songs, "Salah Mencinta" is now available on various digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.

Meanwhile, the official music video has also been released on the Irama Musik Production YouTube channel.

During the production process, Ronald Dewa held several key roles, from singer and songwriter to music video director. He collaborated with Danis Dhemes as the actor and Jatmoko, who handled the cinematography.

Through this latest work, Ronald Dewa once again highlights a love story that feels close to everyday life.

Because in the end, not all love stories end in togetherness. Some must come to an end even when feelings of love still remain.
